Lightning's Punt, Pass & Kick set for Nov. 24

MURFREESBORO - Middle Tennessee athletics and One Goal Sports will be hosting Lightning's Punt, Pass & Kick Competition on Saturday, November 24 at the Dean A. Hayes Track and Soccer Stadium. The event gets underway at 9 AM and is open to kids ages 5-12.

The cost is $20 and registration MUST be done at OneGoalSports.com no later than Nov. 18. The entry fee includes event participation, a $20 reserved ticket to the Middle Tennessee-Troy football game at 2:30 PM, a ticket to the MT-Texas Southern men's basketball game at 6 PM, an event shirt, a Blue Raider prize pack, and a certificate of participation.

Each player will have the opportunity for one punt, one pass, and one kick from a tee. The score will be a combination of distance and accuracy and will be added up for a participant's final score.

The top finisher in each group (5-6, 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12) will receive a trophy, autographed football, and on field recognition during the MT-Troy game.

Additional tickets to the football game for family and friends can be purchased for $9, which will also be good for the basketball game at 6 PM.
