Raiders to be recognized for 8-4 season
Team will be introduced at halftime Wednesday night

MURFREESBORO - The Middle Tennessee football team, fresh off an 8-4 season, will be recognized Wednesday night during halftime of the Blue Raiders' men's basketball game against UAB. Tipoff is set for 7 PM.
The Blue Raiders had the biggest win improvement in the country in 2012 and along the way picked up a road victory against Georgia Tech, 49-28. The Yellow Jackets played for the ACC Championship last weekend.
Middle Tennessee played for the Sun Belt Championship and won four of its last five games, while receiving votes in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll for three consecutive weeks.
The Blue Raiders are poised to build on its momentum in 2013 as they return 17 starters (9 offense and 8 defense).
