Rowe honored for the fourth time by TSWA

NASHVILLE - For the fourth time this season, Middle Tennessee's Ebony Rowe was named the Tennessee Sports Writers Association Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
The junior forward averaged 22.5 points and 12.5 rebounds in two victories last week for the Blue Raiders.
Rowe netted a career-high 35 points and grabbed a season-best 17 rebounds in a 65-56 win against UALR. She made 13-of-21 shots and was 9-for-12 at the foul line against the Trojans in posting the 43rd double-double of her career.
The Lexington, Ky., native followed that with 10 points and eight boards in a season-low 26 minutes versus Louisiana. Rowe has scored double figures in 26 consecutive games, the sixth longest streak in the nation. The Lexington, Ky., native is averaging 21.7 points and 11.0 rebounds in 18 games this season.
Rowe has won the weekly TSWA award on three other occasions: Nov. 13, Dec. 11 and Jan. 3.
Middle Tennessee heads to North Texas on Thursday, Jan. 24 and hosts rival Western Kentucky on Sunday, Jan. 27.
