Women's Basketball earns votes in Coaches' Poll
Blue Raiders have reeled off seven straight wins
January 22, 2013 · @MTAthleticsMiddle Tennessee women's basketball earned seven votes, which was good for 29th in the USA TODAY SPORTS/ESPN Division I Top 25 Coaches' Poll. Fans can view the rankings here.
The Blue Raiders (13-5, 8-1 Sun Belt) have reeled off seven consecutive victories, including a 72-36 win over Louisiana on Saturday.
MT plays some of the Sun Belt's top competition this week when the Raiders visit SBC West leader North Texas on Thursday, Jan. 24. The front-end of the double-header is set for 5 p.m.
On Sunday, the Raiders welcome rival Western Kentucky to cap off True Blue Week with a 2 p.m. matchup against the Lady Toppers. That contest will be televised on ESPN3.
