C-USA moves Marshall game to Oct. 24
Thursday night game will be televised nationally
February 28, 2013 · @MTAthleticsMiddle Tennessee's home C-USA game against Marshall has been moved to Thursday, Oct. 24 to accommodate television.
MURFREESBORO - Conference USA has announced a date change to Middle Tennessee's home contest against Marshall during the 2013 football season. The date change is accommodating national television and a game time and network will be announced at a later date.
The initial C-USA meeting between Marshall and Middle Tennessee will now be on Thursday, October 24 at Floyd Stadium. The game was originally scheduled for October 19.
Additional date changes to accommodate television do remain a possibility, and details of such games will be announced as soon as possible.
C-USA's 17th football season will begin on Thursday, August 29 as the Blue Raiders open at home against Western Carolina. The league's ninth annual football championship game is scheduled for Saturday, December 7.
