Men's golf remains in 12th place after round two

TAMPA, Fla. - Middle Tennessee remained in 12th place following the second round at the USF Invitational after shooting a 298 at the Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club. The Blue Raiders have a 36-hole total of 602.

NC State owns the overall lead with a 567 followed by No. 43 South Carolina with a 570. No. 16 Florida State is third with a 579 while No. 49 Kentucky is next with a 582. Mercer rounded out the top five with a 587.

Andrew Cho led the Blue Raiders for the second straight day with an even par 72 as he recorded five birdies on his round. Cho is tied for 18th overall with a 146 total.

Lucas Armstrong is tied for 33rd after posting a 73 that included four birdies. Armstrong has a 149.

Payne Denman also carded a 73 on Monday to move up to 48th with a 151 cumulative score. Denman also had four birdies on the day.

Jordan Jennings and Sam Thompson completed the scoring for the Blue Raiders. Jennings is tied for 73rd with a 157 while Thompson is tied for79th with a 158.

The Blue Raiders will play the final round on Tuesday.
