Rowe grabs sixth TSWA Player of the Week honor
Junior averaged double-double in wins over Troy and WKU

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee's Ebony Rowe earned Tennessee Sports Writers Association (TSWA) Women's Basketball Player of the Week accolades, averaging 17.5 points and 15.5 rebounds in a pair of victories for the Blue Raiders.
Rowe posted 10 points and a season-high 17 rebounds at Troy , making 5-of-10 shots along with four assists. The Lexington, Ky., native followed that with 25 points and 14 boards in the regular season finale at Western Kentucky, connecting on 9-of-17 shots and hitting 7-for-11 at the foul line. The junior forward grabbed 15 offensive rebounds among her 31 caroms for the week and added three steals, five assists and one steal combined in the two outings.
This season, Rowe has posted 17 double-doubles and 49 in her career for the Blue Raiders. She is averaging 20 points and 11 rebounds per game this season, both team-highs. The TSWA honor was the sixth for Rowe this season - the most of any player this season.
Middle Tennessee will play in the quarterfinals of the Sun Belt Championships on Saturday, March 9 against the winner of Florida Atlantic-ULM. Tipoff is set for Noon at the Summit Arena and will be televised on the Sun Belt Network.
