Dudley heads for NCAA Championships

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Senior Ann Dudley will compete in her final NCAA Indoor Track and Field meet this weekend, as she is the lone Blue Raider representative at the NCAA Championships in Fayetteville, Ark., March 8-9.
As the Sun Belt's most outstanding female field performer this season, Dudley qualified eighth in the high jump with a mark of 1.87 meters (6-1.5 feet). She is the SBC's highest qualifier in the NCAA Championships this year.
Dudley won her third straight Sun Belt Conference championship in the high jump two weeks ago. She currently holds the SBC Championship and season records after her latest performances. Dudley also placed third in the pentathlon at the conference championship.
The women's high jump competition gets underway at 3:15 p.m. on Friday, March 8.
Dudley's Top Five Indoor High Jump Marks
- 1.87 meters (6-1.5 feet) at 2013 SBC Championships (Pentathlon)
- 1.83 meters (6-0 feet) at the 2011 MT Christmas Invitational
- 1.82 meters (5-11.5 feet) at the 2013 SBC Championships and the 2012 Kentucky Invitational
- 1.81 meters at the 2012 NCAA Championships
- 1.80 meters at the 2013 Rod McCravy Memorial
