Blue Raiders finish 10th at General Hackler
Denman, Cho have final round 73s
March 12, 2013 · @MTAthleticsMURRELLS INLET, S.C. - Middle Tennessee shot a final round 301 Tuesday to finish 10th at the General Hackler Championship on the TPC of Myrtle Beach Golf Course. The Blue Raiders had a 54-hole score of 931.
Arkansas and Kent State shared the title with a score of 873 while Tennessee finished third (880). Host Coastal Carolina had an 892 for fourth and East Tennessee State rounded out the top five.
Payne Denman carded four birdies on his final round for a 73 to finish tied for 28th. Denman had a 229 total.
Lucas Armstrong, who led the Blue Raiders through 36 holes, tied for 34th after a 79 on Tuesday. Armstrong had a 54-hole score of 231.
Andrew Cho equaled Denman for the team's low round of the tournament with a 73 in the final round. Cho tied for 40th with a 233 total.
Drake Duncan tied for 57th and Sam Thompson was 61st.
The Blue Raiders will travel to Memphis for the Memphis Intercollegiate on March 25-26.
