This week's action
Middle Tennessee travels to Miami, Fla., this weekend for a three-game series with FIU. The Sun Belt Conference series is the second SBC series for the Blue Raiders this year.
Last time out
The Blue Raiders dropped two of three this week, but picked up their second win of the season, defeating Eastern Kentucky, 2-1, in the first game of a doubleheader.
Series' history
Middle Tennessee picked up one win in the three-game series with the Panthers last year, a 2-1 victory in nine innings at the Blue Raider Softball Field in Murfreesboro, Tenn. FIU leads the series, 35-15, but had a win streak of 14 straight against MT snapped last year. That was the first win for the Blue Raiders against FIU since 2008.
