Official viewing parties set for Blue Raider fans

MURFREESBORO - March Madness will be in full force this week as the Blue Raider men's and women's basketball teams compete in the NCAA Tournament. There will be three viewing headquarters in the Murfreesboro area for fans to catch the action all week.

Sam's All American Sports Grill, Toot's Restaurant and The Boulevard Bar and Grille will all host viewing parties for fans during games.

Each location will be showing the game live as well as offering specials during the game for all Blue Raider fans.

For the first time in 24 years the men's basketball team will be making an appearance in the big dance. The men earned a No. 11 seed and were selected to play Saint Mary's on Tuesday night in Dayton, Ohio in the First Four at 8:10 p.m. CT.

MT women's basketball team earned their fifth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. The Blue Raiders are the No. 12 seed and take on No. 5 seed Louisville at the KFC Yum! Center on Sunday, March 24 in Louisville, Ky. Tipoff is set for 1:30 p.m. CT.
