Blue Raiders make the trek to Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The NCAA Tournament journey began Friday as the Middle Tennessee women's basketball team made the three and half hour trek north to Louisville.
Before departing Murfreesboro, the Raiders practiced inside the Murphy Center. The team made the easy drive up I-65 and arrived in the mid-afternoon. They enjoyed a team meal and rested before preparing for tomorrow's practice and press conference.
MT, a No. 12 seed, partakes in its' ninth NCAA Tournament in the past 10 years, which includes a current school-record fifth consecutive appearance. MT and No. 5 seed Louisville are meeting for the fourth time and the first since 2009.
Sunday's game is set for a 1:40pm CT tip inside the KFC Yum! Center and will air live on ESPN2/ESPN3.com. The broadcast will be shown in its entirety in the Nashville/Murfreesboro area and on ESPN3.com. Other regions will see a wrap-around telecast, which will highlight the various tournament games during that time.
