WALLACE, N.C. - The Middle Tennessee women's golf team finished in eighth place at the UNCW Seahawk Classic at River Landing Country Club.

The third and final round concluded on Sunday with Old Dominion winning the tournament with a team score of 917. Georgia State finished just two strokes behind with a 919 to take second, and UNCG rounded out the top three with a final score of 921.

Middle Tennessee finished with a team score of 934 (317-311-306). Allie Knight paced the Blue Raiders with a score of 227 (78-73-76, +11) as she finished tied for ninth place. Avery George came in just one stroke behind Knight with a final score of 228 (76-76-76, +12), a 12th-place finish.

After carding an 80 in second round play on Saturday, Olivia Love dropped six strokes off her score in the third round for a 74 and finished with a 235 (81-80-74, +19) tied for 27th. Natalie Chrisopulos (82-82-80-244, +28) and Ashley Haggard (84-82-82-248, +32) rounded out the scoring for Middle Tennessee.

Emily Miller finished with a 240 (83-83-74, +24) playing as an individual.

The conclusion of the Seahawk Classic also concludes the Blue Raiders' spring slate. Middle Tennessee will be on the road April 15-17 competing in the Sun Belt Championships at Robert Trent Jones Golf Course in Muscle Shoals, Ala.
