Quiet bats haunt Louisiana series finale

LAFAYETTE, La. - Middle Tennessee managed just one hit the series finale with Louisiana, falling 6-0 to the Ragin' Cajuns on Sunday afternoon.
MT (5-37, 1-16 SBC) had just three baserunners in the game, while UL (30-11, 11-6 SBC) had 10 hits.
Nina Dever was 1-for-3 in the game, reaching on a single in the second inning, while Laura Dukes reached on an error by UL's Samantha Walsh in the fourth. Kayla Toney worked MT's only walk in the game.
McClure had just one out in the third, allowing two more runs, before Ashley Stassin came in for the final 3.2 innings. Stassin allowed just one more run and struck out three.
The Blue Raiders continue their road trip next week with a single game against UT-Martin on Tuesday, April 16. First pitch in that game is 3 p.m.
