MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee travels to Martin, Tenn., for a single-game with UT-Martin on Tuesday at 3 p.m. The Blue Raiders will then return home for a non-conference doubleheader with No. 18/19 Kentucky. The doubleheader will begin at 3 p.m., with Game 2 approximately 30 minutes after Game 1.

The Blue Raiders were swept in the three-game conference series with Louisiana. The Ragin' Cajuns outscored MT, 22-3, on the weekend, as MT managed just 12 hits all weekend, nine of which came in a 6-3 loss on Saturday afternoon.

Middle Tennessee leads UT-Martin, 25-11-1, in the series history, while they have split four games (2-2) with the Wildcats over the years.

After racking up just two hits in Game 1 against Louisiana, MT's offensive production increased in the second game, as Laura Dukes went 2-for-4 to lead the team. Nina Davenport was 2-for-3 in the game, while Nina Dever was 1-for-3 with two RBI. Trailing UL 1-0 in the third, MT would score three to take the lead. Though they eventually lost the game, Dever blasted her third home run of the season and moved into a tie for ninth on the career home run record list.

Dever had her 10-game hitting streak snapped in Game 1 against Louisiana last weekend, but picked things back up in the next two games, with MT's lone hit on Sunday. She will look to continue her climb up the batting average charts with six games this week.

Over the next two weeks, Middle Tennessee will play 10 games, including a three-game series with North Texas next weekend. The Blue Raiders added two games in the span that weren't originally scheduled, turning a single-game with Kentucky into a doubleheader on April 17, and a neutral site contest with Mississippi State on Monday, April 22 in Irondale, Ala.

The Kentucky doubleheader will be broadcast by MT10, Middle Tennessee's student-run cable television network.  The game will be shown on channel 10 locally on Comcast and channel 99 on U-Verse.
