NEW ORLEANS - Senior Olivia Love has been named to the All-Sun Belt Second Team, as announced on Thursday by the conference office after a vote of the league's head coaches.

Love saved her best career performance for the end, finishing second at the 2013 Sun Belt Conference Championship held last week. The Columbia, Tenn., native recorded a career-best two-under-par 214 (72-70-72), just two strokes off the lead. Her three-round total tied the best mark in school history and she picked up all-tournament honors for the performance.

As one of the most consistent Blue Raiders during the 2012-13 season, Love recorded three top 10 finishes. She helped MT to the Blue Raider Invitational title in the fall with a fourth-place finish and recorded a 10th-place finish at the UALR Classic in March. This spring, she accumulated a career-best 74.6 stroke average.

Love competed in eight tournaments this year and held a 77.1 stroke average to close out her senior campaign. She is the eighth Blue Raider to take home all-conference honors. It marks the fourth straight year at least one Blue Raider has earned all-league accolades.
