Blue Raiders join Jackson Generals for MTSU Night July 20

JACKSON, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee baseball team is joining with the Jackson Generals to celebrate MTSU Night on July 20 at 6:05 p.m. CT when the Generals take on the Mississippi Braves at The Ballpark at Jackson.
Director of Athletics Chris Massaro and MT head coach Jim McGuire will be on hand to throw out ceremonial first pitches. Anyone wearing Blue Raider gear will receive free admission to the game.
The Generals will also honor the late John Stanford, who passed away on July 1 at the age of 77. Stanford, a member of the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame, played for the Blue Raider baseball program from 1960 to 1963 then became the head coach from 1974 to 1987. In 1987 he took over as athletic director where he served until 1994.
