MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Another Middle Tennessee baseball player earned honors during the summer season. Murfreesboro native Jonathan Sisco grabbed All-Tennessee Summer Collegiate Baseball Association (TSCBA) honors for his efforts at the plate.
Sisco, senior for the Blue Raiders, boasted a .269 batting average in 17 games. The first baseman ranked second in the league with 16 RBIs, while hammering a team-best four home runs. He helped the Nashville Classics to a regular season title with a 12-3 record. During the TSCBA postseason tournament, the Classics picked up a 9-5 victory over the Tennessee Lynx to clinch the championship. Sisco saw limited action as a pitcher during the summer.
"I am excited to see Jonathan back on the field after sitting out last season," said head coach Jim McGuire. "I am ready to see him put it all together this fall."
