Cornea and Fox finish as doubles finalists at ITA Ohio Valley Regional

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Sophomores Victor Cornea and David Fox finished as doubles finalists at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional, while Fox concluded play as a quarterfinalist in singles play at the regional hosted by Tennessee.
The sophomore doubles duo faced David O'Hare and Joe Salisbury of Memphis in the final. Fox had defeated Salisbury on Sunday to advance to the singles quarterfinals, but the Memphis pair ended up victorious on Monday morning, 8-6.
In singles play, Fox faced Tennessee's Hunter Reese in the quarterfinals, and took the first set, 6-1. Reese would answer back, forcing a decisive third set with a 6-0 win in the second. Reese would then close out the match with a 6-2 win in the third set, and advance all the way to the singles final, to be played on Tuesday morning.
The tournament concludes the fall schedule for the Blue Raiders, who open up their spring schedule on Jan. 18 vs. Chattanooga and Murray State.
