Raiders have 8-under par 280 in second round

Princeville, Kaua'i, HI - Middle Tennessee shot an 8-under par 280 in the second round of the 2013 Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational on Tuesday. The Blue Raiders are tied for seventh in the 18-team field at the Makai Golf Club (7,223, par of 72).

CSU Fullerton has a two-round total of 546 (-30) to own the overall lead followed by Louisville in second with a 550. Mississippi State is in third with a 551, while Arizona State is fourth after registering a 558. Baylor rounds out the top five with a score of 559.

Senior Jordan Jennings continued his strong play with a second straight 68 and is 8-under for the tournament. Jennings is sixth overall after recording four birdies and an eagle on Tuesday.

Junior Brett Patterson shot a 1-under par 71 in the second round and is in 11th place. Patterson has a 138 total.

Junior Payne Denman also carded a 1-under par 71 to move into a tie for 37th, while Andrew Cho fired a 2-under par 70 and is tied for 64th. Cho had two birdies and eagled the par 4, 14th hole.

Sophomore Drake Duncan turned in a 75 and is tied for 88th.

The Blue Raiders will play the final round beginning Wednesday morning.
