INDIANAPOLIS - The NCAA has announced its "6th Fan" social media promotion for all Division I colleges and universities. It is a contest that combines the passion of college fans and the opportunity to be interactive on social media, with the added incentive of prizes for the winning university and fans.

The winning school will receive $100,000 from the NCAA for its general scholarship fund, while all teams that advance to the Sweet Sixteen of the 6th Fan contest will receive $10,000.

In addition, fans will win prizes from the NCAA, as each round, a randomly-selected entry will be drawn to win an iPad Air. All entries will be submitted into a grand prize drawing at the end of the competition and one winner will receive an all-expense-paid trip to the 2015 Men's Final Four in Indianapolis, including the March Madness Music Festival and other tournament weekend events.
