MT Jumps in to day two of Vanderbilt Invite

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Cordairo Golden and Kameron Rory highlighted the jump crew for the Middle Tennessee field teams that competed on day one of the Vanderbilt Indoor Invitational. Golden placed second in the long jump with a leap of 7.30 meters, while Rory finished fifth with a jump of 6.97 meters.
Barbara Vilson and Pershawna Williams tied for seventh in the high jump after both cleared 1.67 meters. Williams also placed 19th (5.41 meters) in the long jump, while freshman Taylor Day finished one spot ahead of Williams for 18th (5.42 meters). India Hammond rounded out the competitors for Friday after she placed 13th with a leap of 5.60 meters.
Middle Tennessee starts day two of the Vanderbilt Invite at 10:30 a.m. with the women's 3,000-meter. Live results are available by clicking here.
