MT Men's hoops set to host Social Media Night

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee men's basketball team is excited to announce the final details on "Social Media Night" for its game against East Carolina Thursday at 7 p.m.
The Blue Raiders will wear special warm-ups with Twitter handles on the back and fans can collect prizes through the various social media contests.
Fans can send tweets to @MTAthletics for a chance to have their tweets displayed on the Blue Raider scoreboard. One lucky fan, that is not a current Middle Tennessee student, will be selected to receive a pair of tickets to the men's and women's basketball doubleheader March 1. To enter the contest, fans must like and share the "Social Media Night" photo on the MT Athletics Facebook page. The women's team will tip-off at 3 p.m. with the men's squad to follow against Rice at 5 p.m.
The current Middle Tennessee student that uses the hashtag #MTSocial the most throughout Thursday's game against ECU will win a $100 gift certificate to Textbook Brokers.
In addition, fans can tweet section and row numbers to @MTAthletics for a chance to win Purity Ice Cream for the entire row. Also be ready to answer trivia questions on Facebook and Twitter during the game to win various prizes to Culvers, Genghis Grill or Malco Theater movie passes.
For Instagram users, tag @MTAthletics in photos of you at the game for a chance to win an Outback Steak House gift card.
The Blue Raiders tip-off at 7 p.m. with Conference USA opponent East Carolina Thursday.
