Rowe grabs sixth TSWA Player of the Week award

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee's Ebony Rowe garnered Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors for the sixth time this season from the Tennessee Sports Writers Association (TSWA), averaging 27.5 points and 12.5 rebounds in a pair of road victories for the Blue Raiders.
The Lexington, Ky., native collected 23 points and 12 boards in a 65-58 road victory over FIU, hitting 10-of-17 shots and dishing out a season-high five assists. The senior forward followed that with a season-best 32 points along with 13 caroms in an 83-77 win at Florida Atlantic, including 14-for-18 at the foul line against the Owls. She made 9-of-13 field goals in posting her 21st double-double of the year in 25 contests.
Rowe leads the Blue Raiders with 21.8 points and 11.4 rebounds per game. On Monday, Rowe was tabbed the Conference USA Player of the Week for the fourth time this season. Middle Tennessee hosts Marshall on Wednesday and Charlotte on Saturday this week.
