MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee soccer program will hold its annual Spring College ID Camp March 30 at Hayes Soccer Stadium on the university's campus.
The College ID Camp is open to all female soccer players age 13 years and older with aspirations of playing at the collegiate level. The goal of this camp is to provide each player with a comprehensive experience of what it takes to be successful at the collegiate level.
"The College ID Camp is a great way to expose our university to prospective student-athletes, while assisting them in their preparation for collegiate soccer," said MT head coach Aston Rhoden. "It's always fun sharing our knowledge of the way we believe the game should be played with young players and having new faces on campus."
The camp is designed to replicate the collegiate training environment and to give the players the tools needed to be successful at the collegiate level. All training sessions will be conducted by the Middle Tennessee soccer coaching staff. Strong emphasis will be placed on improving each player's technical ability under pressure and her tactical awareness. Individual creativity will be strongly encouraged in an effort to keep each player confident and determined to discover success within the game.
