The Middle Tennessee women's tennis team visits South Florida this week for three matches in the span of five days. The Blue Raiders open the road swing against Boston University on Monday before playing at Barry University on Wednesday and at Florida Atlantic on Friday.

MT (6-3) is coming off a 7-0 shutout of Jackson State on Friday. The Raiders have recorded three shutouts this season, tying the most under third-year head coach Shelley Godwin. Tiffany William leads the Raiders with a 9-0 record at the No. 1 singles position. Nayara Moraes follows with a 7-2 record, while Irina Constantinide has a 6-3 mark thus far.

In doubles action this season, William and Grace have rebounded from a slow start at the No. 1 spot for a team-best 6-3 record.

The Raiders and Terriers meet for the second time in program history at 9 a.m. CT on Monday. Ironically, both teams met previously in Miami on March 10, 2005 with Boston prevailing 5-2. The Terriers are 5-5 this season with Leonie-Charlotte Athanasiadis leading the way with a 5-3 mark in singles play. Athanasiadis and teammate Johanna Hyoty hold a team-best 4-1 mark in doubles action.

Barry University is ranked third nationally at the NCA Division II level and owns a 12-0 record this season. The Buccaneers has one DI win against Davidson earlier this year. Anaeve Pain and Emma Onila are a combined 14-2 this season for Barry. The Raiders and Bucs previously met on March 18, 1992 with the Raiders prevailing 7-2 in Miami. The match with Barry is scheduled for 2 p.m. CT.

Middle Tennessee and FAU meet for the fifth time on Friday. FAU owns a 3-1 all-time record. However, the Blue Raiders upended the Owls in their last meeting on March 3, 2012 with a 4-3 victory. FAU is 4-6 overall and 0-1 in C-USA play. Kandis Legall owns a team-best 8-2 mark in singles action. MT and the Owls meet at Noon on Saturday.
