Hammond's season and career-best distance came at the Alex Wilson Invitational Feb. 22, leaping 12.95-meters to a first place finish. She ranks No. 17 in the NCAA and was an addition to the final 16 after Maryland's Thea LaFond was not able to compete. Hammond finished third in the long jump (5.91m) and fourth in the triple jump (12.55m) at the C-USA Indoor Championships.
