Raiders shut out Utah State, 4-0

BOISE, Idaho - The Middle Tennessee men's tennis team shut out Utah State 4-0 on Sunday in Boise. With the win, the Blue Raiders improve to 9-12 on the year, and have won four of their last five.

Singles were played first, with the Blue Raiders taking the first four matches to win the match. All four wins were in straight sets. No doubles matches were played.

Freshman Aaron Jumonville was victorious at No. 4 singles (6-4, 6-2) to open the match, followed by a win at No. 6 from freshman Sam Matheson (6-3, 6-2). Junior Ettore Zito won at No. 1 (6-2, 6-1) before sophomore Victor Cornea closed out the match with a win at No. 2 (6-2, 6-2).

The Blue Raiders return to action with two home matches to close the regular season, hosting USF (April 11) and UCF (April 13).
