Play suspended after 12 holes due to weather

MADISON - Through 12 holes of the weather suspended Reunion Intercollegiate, Middle Tennessee is in third place at three-over par at the Reunion Golf and Country Club (par 72, 7,305 yards).

The Blue Raiders are two shots back of co-leaders Austin Peay and Southern Miss and three shots in front of No. 15 Vanderbilt and No. 10 Houston.

Junior Brett Patterson is the tournament leader at 3-under par through 12 holes. Patterson, who started on the fourth hole, picked up birdies on 10, 13 and 15.

Junior Payne Denman is just one shot back of Patterson in second at 2-under par. Denman, who has played 14 holes, had birdies on 6, 8, 10 and 17.

Lucas Armstrong and Jordan Jennings are both tied for 54th at 4-over par, while Andrew Cho is tied for 60th at 5-over par.

The Blue Raiders will complete the first round beginning at 8 AM followed immediately by the second and final round.
