NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Senior Zac Curtis added to the accolades from his phenomenal outing Friday night by being named TSWA Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season, as announced by the TSWA Tuesday.

Curtis continued his stellar campaign with a three-hit shutout versus Old Dominion Friday at Reese Smith, Jr. Field, striking out 11 in the first complete-game shutout of his career. The senior southpaw faced just two batters over the minimum, did not walk a batter and matched his career-high for strikeouts, helping the Blue Raiders win 2-of-3 from the Monarchs.

Curtis improved to 6-2 on the season with a 2.08 ERA in 82.1 innings of work with four complete games in 11 appearances. He leads Conference USA and ranks fourth nationally with 98 strikeouts, while opponents are batting just .226 against him.

The Blue Raider lefty was named Conference USA Pitcher of the Week Monday, marking the second time this year Curtis earned that honor.
