Lady Raiders Fall to Western Kentucky 66-62

The Lady Raiders took the lead with 1:12 left to play when senior Jamie Thomatis hit a lay-up to put Middle Tennessee up 62-61. Western Kentucky answered by hitting 5-6 from the free throw line to ice the game for the Lady Toppers.
Senior Jamie Thomatis ended her regular season career with 22 points and three rebounds. Sophomore Keisha McClinic got a starting nod tonight and answered with 12 points and seven rebounds.
Middle Tennessee will open the Sun Belt Conference Tournament in New Orleans, LA on Thursday February 28 at 4:30 p.m. The Lady Raiders will meet the No. 6 seed from the west Louuisana-Lafayette.
