Track Squads Compete at Last Chance Meet

On the women's side, Jameka Collins jumped 18-1.5 in the long jump, while four Lady Raiders placed in the top seven in the triple jump. Stephany Reid cleared a season-best 41-4.25 to finish second, with Kim Freeman right behind her with a mark of 40-8.25. Letitia Eady came in fifth, jumping 39-10.75, and Collins was seventh with a mark of 39-1.
The women's 4x400m relay team of Kishara George, Lanora Gray, Rosemary Okafor and Bromeka Holmes came in fifth with a provisional qualifying time of 3:38.18.
The track squads will find out who qualified for the NCAA Championships on Monday. The men and women open the outdoor season on March 16 at the Auburn Invitational in Auburn, Ala.
