The 20th-ranked doubles tandem of Oliver Foreman and Robert Gustafsson defeated No. 40 Nick Fustar and Dustin Ilic, 8-2, and Greg Pollack and Michael Staniak won 8-6 over Alex Krohn and Greg Shearer to give the Blue Raiders the doubles point.

In singles, 15th-ranked Daniel Klemetz won 6-1, 7-5 over 114th-ranked Fustar at No. 1, and Middle Tennessee got victories at No. 5 and 6 to grab the victory. Trevor Short defeated Krohn, 6-4, 6-2 at No. 5, and Rishan Kuruppu won 6-4, 6-3 at No. 6 against Vinny Owens.

The Blue Raiders dropped a 4-1 decision to 31st-rated South Alabama on Thursday and lost 4-1 to 25th-ranked VCU on Friday. In the loss to VCU, Middle Tennessee won the doubles point but lost four singles matches, the first time in the last two seasons the Blue Raiders have won the doubles point in a dual match and lost the match.

Middle Tennessee travels to Miami (FL) on March 25 and Mississippi State on April 2 before hosting South Alabama in Murfreesboro on April 5.
