30th Annual Salute to Veterans

Middle Tennessee hosts Arkansas State on Saturday, November 19 as we recognize the our veterans and active service personnel and their families.

The day begins with a veterans memorial service at the MTSU World War II Memorial (in front of the Tom Jackson Building) at 10:30 AM.

Following the memorial service, a complimentary picnic will be held for veterans and active service families at the Rose and Emmett Kennon Hall of Fame Building at 11:30 AM. Tickets to the game will be provided at the picnic to veterans, service members and their families courtesy of State Farm and Barrett Firearms.

At halftime, the Band of Blue conducts a special patriotic salute as veterans march across Horace Jones Field with other members of their service branches.

Toys for Tots

Bring your new, unwrapped toys to the game November 19 and help the US Marine Corps Reserve in their goal of distributing toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community.

This is serious college football.

Middle Tennessee is no stranger to "big boy" football. As a matter of fact, ten of the 17 schools the Blue Raiders have hosted since 2005 made an appearance in a post-season bowl game during that same period. That's solid scheduling built for success.
