Elmer "Moody" Bain

A DeKalb County, Tenn. native, Elmer "Moody" Bain was a standout MT football player in the years just before World War II. In 1947, he returned to play at MT to finish his degree and reclaim his position as a linebacker with tremendous speed. A four-year letterman, Bain coached high school athletics for four years.
