His yards-per-carry average of 9.7 set a new school record ... Voted first team Region 3 AAAA as a fullback and was honorable mention All-CSRA ... Was a team captain and the team's offensive MVP in 2002 ... Against Greenbrier High School his senior year, Gunter rushed for 153 yards on just seven carries and scored three touchdowns ... Was a three-year starter ... Also lettered in basketball and track ... Sported a 3.6 GPA and earned the National Honor Roll award ... Played football for coach Todd Booker.
