2006 Fall: Played in three tournaments with a stroke average of 74.5, which was 21st among Sun Belt golfers in the fall season ... Tied career low round with a 69 at the Sam H. Hall Invitational ... Best finish was 27th at the Mason Rudolph Invitational ... Also finished 34th at the Crown Colony Classic and 41st at the Sam H. Hall Invitational.

2006 Spring: Played in five tournaments and finished the spring with a 76.4 stroke average ... Turned in career-best finish of 21st at the UALR/First Tee Collegiate with an 8-over 224 ... Fired career-low 69 in the second round of the USA Spring Classic.

2005 Fall: Played in two events and finished the year with a 75.0 stroke average ... Finished 32nd at the Mason Rudolph Championship and 69th at the Missouri Bluffs Challenge.

Central Alabama CC: Rated the number one junior college prospect in the country prior to breaking his foot during Christmas of 2004 ... Led CACC in the fall of 2004 with a 71.4 stroke average ... In 2004, Barnes took medalist honors at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Invitational (70-69-75) and earned a second place finish at the Faulkner State Invitational (72-66) ... Was third at the Wallace State Invitational (76-70-70) while coming home ninth at the Andrews College Invitational (70-72) ... Had a 3.94 GPA.

High School: Lettered in basketball and golf at Elba High School ... A two-time all-state selection ... Placed third at the state tournament in 2003 and was fifth in 2001 ... Earned medalist honors at the Palmetto High School Championships in the first flight ... Was a class president, SGA officer and a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society ...
