with four each coming from Tennessee, Georgia, and California, three
from Florida, two from Alabama, and one each from Colorado, Louisiana, and South Carolina. Overall, 13 signees come from the high school ranks.

2007: Played 10 total games and had one start ... Finished the year with 15 tackles and two sacks ... Had surgery during spring practice and missed the final three weeks of drills but is expected to be back when fall camp opens ... Saw 11 snaps on special teams and seven on defense against FAU in the season opener ... Had two stops at Louisville and added four against LSU ... Did not play against WKU ... Lone tackle against FIU was a sack ... Did not play in loss to Virginia ... Played sparingly at Memphis ... Registered a sack for his only tackle in win over ASU ... Added two tackles in win over ULM ... Started and had two tackles against ULL ... Also had two stops at Troy.

2006: Played and started in one game before seeing his season end with an injury ... Came out of spring drills as the starter at MIKE linebacker ... Collected eight tackles at the Blue-White Spring Game ... Earned the Blue Raider Linebacker award for his play in the spring ... Started at MIKE linebacker against FIU and had one stop, while earning a "winning performance" from the coaching staff on defense and special team's ... Played 38 snaps versus FIU ... Suffered a dislocated knee cap in practice leading up to the Maryland game and missed the rest of the season and took a redshirt year.

2005: Played in all 11 games and earned four starts ... Also played on special teams ... Ended the year with 31 total tackles (24 solos), two tackles for loss, and two quarterback sacks ... Earned his first collegiate start at FAU and came up with three tackles, including a tackle for loss and a quarterback sack ... Collected five tackles in a reserve role against ULL at home ... Came off the bench to record four tackles in win over Arkansas State ... Had six stops in home contest against Louisiana-Monroe ... Earned the start at NC State and responded with a season-best eight tackles and a quarterback sack ... Also started at middle linebacker at Troy and recorded three tackles ... Came up with two stops at FIU.

Mt. SAC: Chosen as a first team All-American at middle linebacker by Gridwire.com ... Earned second team All-Mission Conference honors in 2004 ... Was second on the team in 2004 with 87 tackles, including 11 for a loss of 59 yards and nine sacks ... Also collected one interception (returned for a touchdown against Palomar Comets), a fumble recovery, and a forced fumble ... Drew interest from UNLV, Kansas, North Carolina, Houston, Hawaii, and Louisiana Tech. High School: Was an all-conference player at South Hills HS.
