Did not make the trip to Maryland and was in on four snaps in the Blue Raider win over Tennessee Tech ... Did not travel to Oklahoma due to an injury and did not see action against North Texas, Louisville, Louisiana-Monroe, Louisiana-Lafayette, FAU, Arkansas State, South Carolina, or Troy.

2005: Took a redshirt year.

2004: Attended Fort Scott (Kansas) Community College but did not compete on the football team ... Spent the fall semester focusing on academics before reenrolling at Middle Tennessee in January 2005.

High School: Honored as the all-first coast player of the year and second team all-state after recording 27 sacks his senior year at Mandarin High School ... Registered 101 tackles and 22 sacks as a junior for coach Richard Burnoski, who is now an assistant for the Blue Raiders ... The Florida Times Union's No. 1 rated defensive tackle in the state of Florida coming out of high school ... Signed with Florida State out of high school in 2002 but did not qualify and spent a year at Hargrave Military Academy.
