Noteworthy: Has recovered nicely from his ankle injury and was able to go through spring drills ... Bench presses nearly 400 pounds and squats more than four times his weight ... Has 4.5 speed in the 40 and a vertical jump of 32.5 ... Chose MT over UAB, Louisville, Memphis, and Georgia Southern ... Has 16 brothers and sisters ... His brother Selma Calloway is a former running back for Georgia ... Has played in 15 career games, but has not received a start.

2001: Competed in the team's first six games of the season before seeing his year end with a broken ankle against North Texas (third quarter) ... Was third on the team in rushing with 35 carries for 172 yards and two touchdowns ... In a win over Troy State, Calloway came off the bench to rush 20 times for a season-best 95 yards and two scores ... Had 24 yards on seven carries at Louisiana-Monroe and rang up 24 yards on only three carries before getting hurt against the Mean Green ... Hauled in a total of five catches on the season with two each against Idaho and North Texas.

2000: Played in nine games as a true freshman and finished as the team's second-leading rusher ... Totaled 420 yards on 83 carries (5.1) and seven touchdowns ... Also tallied nine receptions for 169 yards and a touchdown ... Calloway saved his best for last when he stepped in for the injured Dwone Hicks in the season finale to rush for a career-best 108 yards (career-best 25 carries) and three touchdowns, while also adding five catches for a personal-best 136 yards and a 59-yard touchdown in a two overtime win against Louisiana-Lafayette ... Rushed for 92 yards on 17 carries against Murray State to go along with two touchdowns ... In a win at Connecticut, Calloway had 80 rushing yards on12 carries, while also collecting two touchdowns ... Had a career-long run of 42 yards at Connecticut ... Rang up 68 yards on 11 attempts against Mississippi State, including a 25-yard run.

High School: Rang up 6,385 yards rushing and an incredible 69 touchdowns during his four-year career at Miller Co. ... Tabbed the Georgia Player of the Year (for all divisions) by the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association ... Earned the Georgia Class A State Player of the Year award in 1999 after guiding Miller Co. to the semifinals of the state playoffs ... Also named to the Class A All-State team ... Was able to churn up his career yardage total despite playing behind University of Georgia player Charles Grant for two seasons ... In the 1999 season opener, Calloway established new state records for yards and touchdowns in a single-game by registering 476 yards and eight touchdowns on 15 carries - he did all of that in just one half of action ... Also averaged 41.6 yards a punt in 1999, while blocking four himself (had 15 punt blocks during his career) ... Won four first place awards for his age division at a national weight lifting event during the summer of 1999.
