Played No. 6 singles all spring ... Picked up a win in the Sun Belt Tournament with a 6-3, 6-4 win over New Mexico State's Katie Hodge ... Went 6-5 in the fall tournaments ... Took fourth place at the Doctor's Vision Center Flight C ... Had a fifth place finish at Furman Invitational ... Teamed with Carien Venter in doubles at Furman Invitational and June Stewart Invitational ... Venter and Vest went 2-4 in doubles .. Vest teamed with Ole Miss' Florencia Basile at the Middle Tennessee Fall Invitational and went 3-1 in Flight B doubles falling in the finals 6-8 to Sumitra Rao and Marl Dirnstorfer of Memphis.

2001-02

Saw limited action in singles ... Played five matches in the spring and ended the 2002 season 3-2 ... Played No. 6 singles in the Sun Belt Tournament Championships when injury sidelined senior Michaela Gridling ... Went 5-3 in doubles in the spring, playing at No. 2 and No. 3 ... Made her mark in doubles play at the end of the season, playing both No. 2 and No. 3 doubles ... Overall doubles record of 8-7 ... After struggling for most of the fall, Vest won the final singles match in the fall season with a 6-0, 6-0 shutout of Marshall's Olivia Hill ... Won at least one match in the four tournaments she played in.

High School: Attended Germantown High School ... Won district title four years in a row ... Named MVP for three years ... AAA Girls Tennis player of the Year 1998-2000 ... Led team to state semi-finals twice.
