Noteworthy: Is expected to be at full strength when the season opens after knee surgery last fall ... A versatile back who is not only a weapon as a runner, but also as a receiver ... Will give the Blue Raiders a tremendous trio of backs with Dwone Hicks and Don Calloway ... Possesses good speed and vision ... Coaches call him the most consistent blocker among all the Blue Raider backs ... Will be counted on for leadership ... Was a teammate in high school and junior college of Blue Raider wideout Nick Payne.

2000: Started the opener at Illinois and suffered a season-ending knee injury late in the first half ... Had a total of eight carries for 46 yards, including a 24-yard run in the first quarter.

1999: Led the team in rushing with 548 yards on 117 carries ... Also rushed for a team best nine touchdowns ... Played in all 11 games and started three times ... Rushed for a career-high 183 yards on 28 carries in the win over Wofford ... Had 82 yards on 17 carries against Troy State ... Rushed for a personal best three touchdowns against Wofford, while collecting two at Louisiana-Lafayette ... Was fourth on the team in receptions with 27, which was the most by a Blue Raider back since Brigham Lyons hauled in 32 during the 1995 campaign ... Had a season best six catches at Arizona, while collecting five against Central Florida and four each versus Louisiana Tech and Louisiana-Lafayette ... Broke the school record with 29 kickoff returns ... Ranked 41st in the nation in all-purpose yards.

JC: Was named first team JUCO all-American and Conference Player of the Year in 1998 ... Rushed for 1,574 yards and 21 touchdowns, while recording six receptions ... Averaged 6.5 yards a carry ... Tallied four 200-yard games in 1998 ... Rang up 200 yards rushing in the first half against National Champion Butler Co. CC.

High School: Played at Hazelwood Central HS in St. Louis, MO where they won the state championship his senior year ... Played both sides of the ball as a linebacker on defense and running back on offense ... Earned first team all-conference honors, while also being tabbed to the all-district team his senior year.
