Noteworthy: Is listed No. 2 on the depth chart at left tackle behind Jerry Vanderpool coming out of spring drills ... Works extremely hard in the weight room ... Benches 420 and power cleans 352 ... Has improved himself tremendously under Robb Rogers' strength program ... Was one of seven players recognized during Summer 2000 workouts as "Best Conditioned Athlete" after scoring a perfect 34 of 34 points ... Made the move from offensive line to defensive line in the spring of 2000 ... Undersized, but relies on good technique and strength ... A walk-on who is one of the toughest players on the team.

2000: Played in eight games during the season, but most of his action came on special teams ... Only had one tackle on the season and it came at Connecticut.

1999: Took a redshirt year.

High School: Was named all-state, all-county, all-Mid-State, and all-region as a senior at Riverdale High School ... Was a Mr. Football candidate as a senior ...
