2006: Played in 11 games and had one reception for nine yards ... Was moved to fullback during spring practice, which is a position he had never played during his football career ... Came out of spring listed behind Hunter Birtsch and Josh Dutton at fullback ... Earned the Jeanne Massaquoi Sophomore Academic award following spring practice ... Moved to tight end during preseason camp ... Played two snaps on special teams in win over FIU ... Was in on two special teams plays at Maryland and had eight total snaps (one on offense) in win over Tennessee Tech ... Did not play at Oklahoma or North Texas ... Saw five snaps against Louisville and eight in win over Louisiana-Monroe ... Played a season-high 12 snaps (17 total) on offense against Louisiana-Lafayette due to the injury to Stephen Chicola ... Played only on special teams against FAU ... Recorded his first collegiate reception for nine yards at South Carolina.

2005: Played the final seven games of the season ... Saw all his snaps come on field goal and extra point team ... Shared the team's Most Improved award following spring practice ... Moved from the offensive line to tight end prior to the Vanderbilt game.

2004: Took a redshirt year after moving from tight end to the offensive line.

High School: Earned all-region 4-5A honors in 2003 ... Led the Blaze in receiving with 18 catches for 230 yards, one touchdown, and one two-point conversion his senior year ... Had three catches for 96 yards against Oakland ... Was a Blaze Iron Man after benching 300 pounds and squatting 455 ... Also played along the defensive line ... As a junior he caught eight passes for 104 yards and a touchdown ... Played for Coach David Alsup.
