2005: Played and started the first eight games of the season before suffering a season-ending injury against Louisiana-Monroe ... Finished fourth on the team with 46 total tackles to go along with 4.5 tackles for loss, a sack, and an interception ... After missing the last 10 games of 2004 with an injury, Bonner came back and started the season opener at Alabama and responded with nine stops ... Named the Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Week following a seven-tackle performance in the win over Vanderbilt ... Also had three tackles for loss against the Commodores ... Had three tackles, a tackle for loss, a half sack and collected his first-ever interception in the win at FAU ... Shared the team lead in tackles against ULL with nine ... Collected nine tackles in the first half before going out with an injury before halftime against Louisiana-Monroe and did not return ... Did not play against NC State, Troy or FIU due to his injury.

2004: Played in the opener against Akron and collected seven total stops including six solo tackles ... Missed the remainder of the year after having a cervical fusion.

2003: Saw action in all 12 games, including nine as a starter ... Ended the year second on the team with a personal-best 74 tackles to go along with six tackles for loss, two sacks, two pass breakups, and a forced fumble ... Registered six tackles and a sack in the opener against FAU ... Turned in eight stops at No. 8 Georgia to go along with a sack ... Had nine tackles and one for loss of yards at Clemson ... Recorded five tackles and a pass breakup against Temple ... Had five unassisted tackles in the win over NMSU ... Turned in a career-best 14-tackle game at Idaho to go along with one forced fumble ... Added six tackles against Troy State.

2002: Played in all 12 games as a true freshman, but most of his time came on special teams ... Finished the year with four total tackles ... Had two stops at Kentucky and one each against Louisiana-Lafayette and Louisiana-Monroe.

High School: A two-time All-State selection for Huffman High School and coach Curtis Cullman ... Earned recognition on the Birmingham News Super all-state team and the Birmingham News Class 6A all-state team in 2001 after collecting a school-record 178 tackles ... He also had three fumble recoveries and an interception return for a touchdown ... Led Huffman to a 13-1 mark in 2001 and a record of 12-1 in 2000 ... Lettered in football and track.
