The Blue Raiders inked players from eight different states
with four each coming from Tennessee, Georgia, and California, three
from Florida, two from Alabama, and one each from Colorado, Louisiana, and South Carolina. Overall, 13 signees come from the high school ranks.

2006: Started and played 12 games at safety ... Had 40 tackles on the season to go along with 3.5 tackles for loss, a sack, an interception, and four pass breakups ... Also added a team-best three fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles ... Voted one of four permanent captains by his teammates ... Enjoyed a solid spring season and earned a starting role at free safety for the Blue Raiders ... Registered an interception in the Blue-White Spring Game ... Earned the Most Dependable Safety award for his play during the spring ... Led the Blue Raiders with 77 snaps played (63 defense, 14 special teams) in win over FIU to go along with two tackles and a pass breakup ... Earned a "winning performance" mark from the coaching staff on special teams against FIU ... Had four tackles at Maryland before suffering an injury ... Missed the Tennessee Tech game ... Returned to the Blue Raider lineup at Oklahoma and had two stops in 31 plays ... Had a fumble recovery and an interception in win over North Texas ... Registered five tackles, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery against no. 8 Louisville ... The defense's MVP during spring drills, Harris was presented with the Raider award following spring practice ... Had six tackles in the loss to North Texas and collected four stops each at Alabama and against Akron ... Came up with his first career interception in the win over Vanderbilt that led to the team's first touchdown ... Also had three tackles against the Commodores ... Collected four tackles and a quarterback sack in win at FAU ... Had three tackles at home against ULL and Arkansas State ... Added four solo stops against Louisiana-Monroe ... Registered five stops at NC State ... Groin injury limited his snaps at FIU.

2004: Started first eight games and played in nine contests overall, registering 40 total tackles including one sack and three for loss ... Drew start at Akron, making six stops ... Registered six solo tackles against Florida Atlantic including one sack and two tackles for loss ... Made team-high eight tackles including six solo at North Texas ... Collected five tackles, one for loss, against Arkansas State ... Did not play at New Mexico State and versus Louisiana-Monroe because of an injury ... Did not start but played almost entire game in finale at Troy, making three tackles.

2003: Finished with two tackles on the season ... Competed in a total of two games ... Played in his first collegiate game against North Texas as a member of the special teams and had one tackle ... Saw a lot of time in the secondary during the second half at Utah State ... Suffered an injury during practice before the Troy State game ... Applied for a redshirt year due to his injury.

High School: Voted honorable mention all-state and first team all-metro after helping Jefferson Davis to the 2002 state championship game ... Jefferson Davis finished with a 11-3 record as Harris notched 93 total tackles (59 solos), 10 tackles for loss, two sacks, and two interceptions.
