Struggled with injuries early in his career, which slowed his progress ... Possesses good size and ability ... A punishing blocker who should push for a starting role ... Is listed No. 2 at right guard entering fall camp ... Saved a man's life from choking on Jan. 29, 2002, at a local Murfreesboro restaurant when he successfully used the Heimlich maneuver (man asked how to repay him for saving his life and Willoughby replied ......"buy season tickets......").

2001: Played in 10 games and earned a start in the season finale against Connecticut ... Was in on 142 total snaps and had 10 total knockdowns ... 116 of his 142 snaps for the year came in the final four games of the year for an average of 29.0 snaps per game ... Played a career-best 45 snaps and tallied a personal-high 4.5 knockdowns in win over Arkansas State ... Collected 3.5 knockdowns in 40 snaps against Connecticut ... Graded out a personal-best 77 percent in win over New Mexico State (30 snaps).
