Noteworthy: Earned a perfect score of 34 points to earn the honor of "Best Conditioned Athlete" in August of 2001 following the summer workout program ... Wright was one of just four Blue Raiders to score a 34 ... Will be hard pressed to keep out of the starting lineup ... Runs smooth routes and knows the offensive system ... Possesses excellent hands and speed ... Should thrive in the Blue Raider offensive system ... Gives the Blue Raiders a deep threat ... In the 20-yard shuttle run, an event that showcases speed and agility, Wright recorded a 3.92 which would have rated third best at the 2001 NFL combines ... Has a vertical leap of 37 inches and has improved his 10-yard dash time from 1.7 to 1.66 ... Chose MT over Maryland, Clemson, and Marshall.
