2013 (Sophomore): Batted .242 at the plate to go along with four home runs, 28 RBI and 21 runs scored…was named Sun Belt Player of the Week after helping lead his team to an upset of No. 2 Vanderbilt and the school’s first sweep of Louisiana … Finished the week with two home runs, nine RBI and a pair of game-winning hits in the sweep of the Ragin’ Cajuns ... Voted to the Valley League Baseball Second Team during his summer league stint with the Staunton Braves.

2012 (Freshman): Played in 27 games and started 20 of those ... Served as primary battery mate to Sun Belt Freshman of the Year Johnathan Frebis.

Hillgrove HS: Named to the 2010 Georgia Dugout Club All-Tournament Team … Earned Georgia High School Association All-Region honors twice as a catcher … Received honorable mention accolades in 2010 and a spot on the second team in 2009 … Led Hillgrove to the 4-AAAAA region title and runner-up of the GHSA state championship … Propelled the Hawks to a school-record 29 wins in his senior campaign … Played under head coach David Richardson at Hillgrove … Also played summer ball with the East Cobb Astros 17 and East Cobb Titans 16 … Named Titans’ 16U MVP.
