Moved to the secondary the week of the Tennessee Tech game due to so many injuries ... Had two tackles and played a total of 32 plays in win over TTU (19 on defense) ... Returned the second half kickoff 61 yards to setup the Blue Raiders' first touchdown against TTU and earned a "winning performance" on defense and special teams by the coaches ... Had one tackle in 18 snaps (15 special teams) at Oklahoma ... Registered three tackles, a tackle for loss, and a sack in shutout win over North Texas ... Added one stop against Louisville ... Had one tackle and returned two kickoffs for 47 yards against Louisiana-Monroe ... Was awarded a "winning performance" by the coaches for his play at Louisiana-Lafayette (had one stop) ... Registered four stops in win over FAU and two at ASU ... Turned in one tackle against Troy.

High School: Collected 4,275 yards and 76 touchdowns during his career at Justin F. Kimball High School while earning four letters... Tabbed the District Player of the Year as a senior and earned first team all-district honors ... Was the team offensive MVP as a sophomore, junior, and senior and selected team captain as a junior and senior ... Voted first team all-region II Class 4A by the TexasHSFootball.com in 2005 ... Rushed for 1,705 yards and scored 29 touchdowns (26 rushing, 3 receiving) his senior year to lead Kimball to a 9-2 record ... Rushed for 201 yards and two touchdowns in win over 5A Denison ... Tallied 183 yards on the ground in win over rival South Oak Cliff in 2005 ... As a junior, he rushed for 1,395 yards and 22 touchdowns while adding two more scores on receptions ... Named first team all-district as a junior ... In 2003, he rushed for 1,175 yards and scored 23 touchdowns ... Also lettered four years in track, where he qualified for the regionals in the 100 meters as a sophomore, junior, and senior (best time was 10.5).
